Tips to make Diaper Changing Fun and Easy

With so many family and friends pregnant lately, I can’t help but have a little baby lust. I’ve been reminiscing about when my two were babies, which seems like so long ago. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a baby running around in diapers. My baby is 7 going on sixteen. While we are far from the diaper changing stage, I still remember those times fondly. We called her wiggle bum because she would always wiggle around and make diaper changes harder. She was not the easiest to change, and I’m sure if we had pull on diapers it would have made those times much easier.

Huggies has a new diaper out Little Movers Slip-On Diapers, that slip on for easy diaper changes. These diapers look like they would make diaper changing so much easier, no need to have the baby keep still to put on the new diaper. You would just slip in on and pull it up.

Some of my best tips and tricks for changing those squirmy babies:

  1. Make sure you are prepared and have all of your supplies ready before you put your squirmy baby down to change. That way your baby is not waiting on you, and will only need to be still for a few minutes. When you use the Little Movers Slip-On Diapers from Huggies it will make chaging your baby’s diaper easier, all you need to do is slip on the new diaper and off they go.
  2. Make it fun- keep little toys near the diaper changing area to distract your baby and hopefully keep them still longer. I liked to keep one of their favorite stuffed animals at the changing area.
  3. Make it quick- if you are prepared, and use Little Movers Slip-On Diapers from Huggies, diaper changes are sure to be quicker and leave your baby happy. The quicker the diaper changing time is the better it will be for everyone. Mom or dad can continue on with what they need to do, and baby can run off and play.

My babies always were squirmy to change and I think we both dreaded the diaper changing times. By following the tips above diaper changing times will be easier for both of you. As much as I want a new baby, I don’t think I’d want to go back to changing diapers and getting up at all hours of the night.
